Yun has won the Peking University Junior Faculty Teaching Award (first prize)! Yun presented a 20-min short course on why some polymers are stronger than the others.

The first paper from our group is accepted in JACS! Congrats to Tianyi, Jieyu, Miaomiao, Xingjian. They worked their magic in making poly(disulfide)s in a highly controlled and regioselective manner. We thank Boming and Peiyuan at SUSTech for their help with DFT calculations.

Yun participated in organizing this year's “Beijing-Fudan-Zhejiang-Suzhou” Joint Symposium on Polymer Science (北大-复旦-浙大-苏大四校高分子交流会). We made a whole lot of new friends so we call it a success! Thanks to all the colleagues and volunteers for their unrelenting help and support!

Shihao has racked up a departmental scholarship!

Yun is teaching Chemistry Today (今日化学) in the fall semester. Yun will be introducing polymer science to the freshman in the CCME!

We welcome first-year graduate students, Yechen (刘业辰) and Guangke (王光珂), to join the crew! They both come to us from Shandong University.

Welcome Bowen (王博文) and Xu (张旭)! They join us as undergraduate researchers. Bowen will be working with Tianyu on making some sticky polymers, and Xu will be working with Weixiu to cook up some shinny molecules.

A wave is coming. Congrats to Tianyu, Weixiu, and Shihao for passing their qualification exam! Many bottles to open in the summer.

Welcome Yechen! Yechen (刘业辰) come to us as a senior undergraduate from Shangdong University and will be doing his thesis with us in the spring.

Group outing at …… different places!! Team one went out early to the Fragrant Hills (香山), team two got stuck in the traffic and decided to stay in Beiwu Park (北坞). After a long day, we treated ourselves with some good food for sure!

Tianyi received a departmental scholarship!

Yun joined a team of expert to share career advices with the postdocs in our Beijing National Laboratory for Molecular Sciences during the 2nd BMS postdoctoral conference.

Our first grant from the NSFC for making dynamic covalent polymers in a more controlled manner! We thank the NSFC for their support and we will work hard on that.

The newly minted and the first PhD candidate in the Liu Group! Congrats and toasts to Tianyi for passing his qualification exam!

We welcome first-year graduate students, Yiting (魏亦婷) and Xingjian (陈行健), to be onboard! They come to us from Nanjing University and Sichuan University.
