Weixiu has racked up a departmental scholarship!

Welcome Yuan (高渊) to join us as an undergraduate researcher to work with Shihao on our new discovery in polymer mechanochemistry!

Yun was elected to serve in the Early Career Advisory Board for three polymer journals in China: Chinese Journal of Polymer Science, Acta Polymerica Sinica, & Polymer Bulletin.

We welcome first-year graduate students, Bowen (王博文) and Zheng (李政), to join the group! Bowen is an undergraduate of Peking University and Zheng come to us from Shandong University.

We receive another grant from the NSFC for modifying polymers with mechanical force! We thank the NSFC for their support and we will get to work!

Yun has the honor to speak as a representative of young PIs in the concluding ceremony of Peking University Junior Faculty Teaching Workshop!

Yun was invited as one of the six oversea young scientists to give a talk at the 73rd annual meeting of Society Polymer Science, Japan (SJSP) at the Sendai International Center.

Congrats Tianyi for winning an oral award in the inaugural graduate research symposium organized by the polymer division of Chinese Chemical Society!

Tianyi was named to receive the Chancellor Fellowship of Peking University. A big round of applause!

Yun was elected to serve in the Early Career Advisory Board of JACS Au, an open-access sister journal of JACS.

Welcome Jiaheng (刘家恒) to join us as an undergraduate researcher on a challenging mechanochemistry project with Yiting!

Shihao's paper is accepted in JACS! Congrats to Shihao, Yiting, and Tianyi. Working with my colleague Rong Zhu here at PKU and my staunch collaborator Jan Meisner at HHU, we turned a bicyclohexene into a multimodal mechanophore.

Yun is teaching Orgo B (有机化学B) in the spring semester. Yun will be introducing the beautiful world of organic chemistry to the freshman in the med school!

Yun participates in organizing the 4th Soft Matters Frontiers Forum (软物质前沿论坛) at Peking University.
