Jing Cao
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Jing Cao received her PhD degree at Université Paris Sud in 2017. Her research is about ultra-fast laser micromachining. Following a period in Politecnico di Milano doing research about development of new integrated devices fabrication by femtosecond laser micromaching, she joined the Peking University in 2018. Her research focuses on the application of ultra-fast laser in biological system.

Jitian Liu
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Dr. Jitian Liu received his B.S. degree in 2009 and M.S. degree in 2012 both from Ocean University of China working with Professor Caifeng Bi. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2017 from Tianjin University under the supervision of Professors Richard Hsung and Yu Tang. He studied in Professor Weiping Tang’s laboratory at University of Wisconsin-Madison as a visiting student from 2015 to 2016. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Peking University during 2017-2019.

Chao Hou
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Chao Hou is a postdoc in the lab. She got her PhD degree from the University of Science and Technology of China in March 2017. She is highly experienced in the design, preparation, and characterization of plasmonic nanostructures. Currently, she is focusing on graphene and two-dimensional transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) semiconductor layers, including developing various Van der Waals heterostructures, and investigating the optical and electrical properties of TMDCs monolayers.

Liang Deng
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Liang Deng was a postdoctoral researcher working in the Zheng Junrong’s group at the Peking university in 2016. His research interest is medical image and signal processing. Liang Deng received the B.Eng, M.Eng and PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Northwestern Polytechnical University, China, in 2013. From 2007 to 2009, he is a visiting scholar in University of Illinois at Urbana-Champain sponsored by Chinese Scholarship Council. Since 2018, he has been a machine learning engineer at the DHC software.

Guibin Li
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Guibin Li worked as a postdoc in the lab from 2016 to 2018, focused on the research of functional polymer synthesis and high performance solid-state lithium batteries. He got his PhD degree from Jilin University in July 2016，majored in Polymer Chemistry and Physics. After graduating from PKU, he set up a new company with partners from PKU and his research projects were collaborated with industries. Currently, he focuses on industrialization of solid-state lithium battery for wearable devices and advanced energy power system.

Xiewen Wen obtained his M.S. and B.S. degrees both from Sun Yet-sen University, Guangzhou, China. He became a member of our group in the fall of 2009. His current research interest is to investigate vibrational energy transfer with ultrafast laser spectroscopies.
