Our research focuses on the preparation, modification, characterization and application of carbon nanotubes (CNTs). We are interested in developing strategies and techniques for controllable preparation, band structure and property modulation, and high-resolution characterization of CNTs, especially aligned single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) on substrates. We also pay much attention to the potential applications of CNT-based materials in the fields of nanoelectronics, energy source, and biomedicine.
