以溶液中的非共价相互作用为驱动力，包括配位作用，疏水作用，静电相互作用，以及pp相互作用等，研究小分子自组装形成高级软物质组合体的规律，探索具有材料学、医学应用价值的微纳尺度的超级分子自组装结构。目前的主要研究方向包括： 　
1．基于金属配位超分子/嵌段共聚物的有机－无机混杂微纳体系的构筑
2．多模态生物医学成像微纳材料的制备
3．环境响应性软微纳材料
4．溶剂性质对软物质结构功能的影响及调控
5. 软物质的高级组装
