Dr. Du, Tianyi

Tianyi was born in Shiyan, Hubei (湖北十堰市), a city famous for its beautiful mountains, rivers, and automotive industry. He journeyed across Qinling Mountains to Lanzhou for undergraduate study. After receiving his B.A. in Chemistry from Lanzhou University in 2020, he decided to travel north seeking for more personal growth and new life experience at Peking University. Tianyi joined the Liu Group at his second year of graduate school. Currently, he is interested in the synthesis of regioregular poly(disulfide)s, the development of new organo-catalytic systems, and the impact of regiochemistry on the performance of polymeric materials. In his free time, Tianyi enjoys playing the piano, swimming, and searching for delicious local food.
