Shihao grew up in Zhoukou, Henan (河南周口市), known as Laozi's hometown. He received his B.S. in chemistry from Xiamen University, where he worked on the total synthesis of natural products in Prof. Yandong Zhang’s group. Currently, Shihao is intrigued by the new chemistry brought by new mechanophores. Outside of lab, Shihao enjoys fitness training, UNO, playing badminton, and reading.
