Tianyu grew up in Huaibei, Anhui (安徽淮北市) and completed his B.S. in chemistry at Peking University. Trained as a synthetic organic chemist, Tianyu is excited to deepen his knowledge of organic chemistry and reaction mechanism. In the Liu Group, Tianyu worked on developing new dithiolane monomers for the synthesis of poly(disulfide)s. In his free time, Tianyu enjoys going to the gym, listening to music, and playing video games.
