The 8th National Symposium on Rare Earth Organometallic Chemistry

From August 19 to 22, 2025, the 8th National Symposium on Rare Earth Organometallic Chemistry, organized by the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was successfully held in Changchun. Prof. Zhang, together with four Ph.D. students — Yaqi Zhao, Shuangji Song, Jinxiao Yang, and Yibo Liang — attended the conference to engage in academic exchange and learning with colleagues in the field of rare earth organometallic chemistry from home and abroad.

This symposium showcased recent achievements in rare earth organometallic chemistry, which not only advanced the development of the discipline but also strengthened connections among researchers in the field. Prof. Zhang delivered an invited lecture entitled “Rare Earth Heterocyclic Chemistry: Bonding Regulation Driving High-Value Transformation.”

The participating group members presented posters on their respective research. Among them, Jinxiao Yang received the Outstanding Poster Award of the symposium. Congratulations to Jinxiao Yang!
