On May 9th, Prof. Patrick J. Walsh from the University of Pennsylvania was invited to give a Xingda Lecture at the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University. During his visit, he toured our lab under the guidance of Prof. Zhang and took a commemorative photo with him. Prof. Walsh and his team have conducted extensive research in various fields of organic, organometallic, and inorganic synthesis and catalysis, including the development of organozinc- and titanium-based catalysts, the application of late transition metal and lanthanide catalysts in C–S and C–C bond formation, and the advancement of sulfur-based organocatalysts.
We sincerely thank Prof. Patrick J. Walsh for his visit!
