On Feb 22, Dr. Chen Tianyang returned to our group to visit the teachers and students. Dr. Chen was an undergraduate student under the guidance of Prof. Xi and Prof. Zhang. After graduating in 2017, he pursued doctoral studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) under the supervision of Prof. Mircea Dinc, focusing on the application of conductive metal-organic framework materials and conjugated organic/hybrid energetic materials. Upon completing his PhD in 2023, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Department of Chemical Engineering of Stanford University under the guidance of Prof. Zhenan Bao, with research interests centered around developing a new polymer protective layer for lithium metal negative electrodes. During his visit to our group, Dr. Chen presented his doctoral work to the teachers and students, and shared scientific research experiences with us.
