Non-equilibrium Forces and Chemical Reactions

We are interested in harnessing green non-equilibrium forces such as droplet evaporation, phase separation, and surface interaction for controlled chemical and material synthesis. Using deep imaging and nuclear magnetic spectroscopy, we try to understand forces at play across different time and length scales that affect the yield and chirality of product, and how chemical systems dynamically respond to these forces, with the common law of physics.
