Chen Sun, a native of Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, matriculated at Peking University's College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering in 2023. Driven by a profound interest in chemical sciences, Sun has demonstrated exceptional aptitude in academic competitions, most notably securing a gold medal at the 36th China Chemistry Olympiad (2022).
Under the guidance of Professor Sihai Yang, Chen currently conducts undergraduate research exploring novel approaches to ethylene/ethane reverse separation. This investigation advances fundamental understanding of adsorption mechanisms while addressing critical challenges in industrial separation processes.
Chen remains committed to pushing scientific boundaries through experimental inquiry and looks forward to further meaningful contributions within the Yang Group's cutting-edge research program.
