                  Research Interests: 
                 Our research work is focused on the controlled synthesis and hierarchical assembly of inorganic micro- and nanostructures by colloidal chemical methods as well as bio-inspired routes, which is aimed to explore facile, effective, and environmentally benign routes to novel functional materials with specific size, morphology, and architectures. Particular efforts are devoted to their applications in energy conversion and storage, optoelectronic devices, sensing, and catalysis. Current research topics include: 
                 1. Colloidal chemical approaches to morphology-controlled inorganic micro- and nanostructures. 
2. Controlled self-assembly of colloidal nanoparticles and properties/applications of nanoparticle assemblies.
