CURRENT RESEARCH AREAS

l      Preparations and properties of metal, alloy and intermetallic nanoparticles, such as Mg, Al, Ag, Fe, Co, Ni, Fe-Ti, Fe-Al, Sm-Fe, Nd-Fe and intermetallic compounds FeAl, Fe3Al, Sm2Fe17 and Sm2Fe17Nx.

l      Preparations and properties of rare earth oxide nanoparticles, e.g. Sm2O3 and Nd2O3.

l      Preparations and properties of ceramic nanoparticles, including TiN, AlN, Si3N4 and c-BN.
