Professor Yang Jiao and PhD Students Hanyuan Liu, Zhenkai Wang Present Research at 2025 National Polymer Symposium in Guangzhou

From November 22 to 26, Professor Jiao Yang, along with his PhD students Liu Hanyuan and Wang Zhenkai, attended the 2025 National Symposium on Polymer Science and Engineering in Guangzhou, hosted by the Chinese Chemical Society. The prestigious event brought together numerous experts and scholars from across China’s polymer science community to exchange the latest research progress and academic achievements.

During the symposium, Professor Jiao delivered an invited talk at the Youth Forum titled “Electron-Catalyzed Self-aassembly with Improved Efficiency, Robustness and Versatility.” In parallel, his PhD students showcased their research in the poster session. Liu Hanyuan presented his work on “Covalent-Supramolecular Hybrid Cross-Linked Double-Network Sliding-Ring Hydrogels,” while Wang Zhenkai presented his poster titled “Construction of Axially Chiral Polymers via Continuous Asymmetric C-H Bond Activation.” Both students engaged in in-depth discussions with attending faculty and students from various universities and research institutions, receiving valuable feedback and inspiration.

Furthermore, the research group attended a series of presentations in sub-symposia covering diverse fields such as polymer synthesis chemistry, dynamic polymer materials, polymer assembly and supramolecular systems, and the polymer industry, which significantly broadened their academic horizons.

This conference served as a valuable platform for the group to showcase its latest research findings, gain deep insights into the cutting-edge developments in polymer science, and identify new directions and potential opportunities for future collaborations.
