On May 6, Prof. Dierre H. Dixneuf from Université de Rennes 1 and Prof. Xiao-Feng Wu from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences visited our lab. In the afternoon, Prof. Qing-Hua Fan awarded Prof. Dixneuf the Honorary Fellow Certificate of the Chinese Academy of Chemistry. Then Prof. Dixneuf gave a report entitled "Catalytic Functionalisations of Pyridines and Phosphines and Mild Hydrogenations of Nitroarenes for Innovative Syntheses", and Prof. Wu gave a report entitled "Abundant Metal-Catalyzed Carbonylative Transformations", and then had a lively discussion with professors and students. We extend our gratitude to Prof. Dixneuf and Prof. Wu for their visit!
