Research Interests
My research interests have centered on developing radiopharmaceuticals and radiochemical tools for probing and perturbing biological processes in living systems, with a particular focus on cancer. This mainly follows three lines of efforts: (1) Cyclotron-based production of medical radionuclides, development and translational study of new radiopharmaceuticals for cancer theranostics (2) Novel in vivo chemistry that enables PET imaging probes for localized protein activation (e.g.gasdermin for pyroptosis) and controlled drug release; (3) Radiotherapy-induced controlled drug release in tumors.
