Research Interests

Research in our group focuses on the following areas:

  1. High yield synthesis, isolation and purification of single (double) walled carbon nanotubes, endohedral fullerenes and metallofullerenes;

  2. Chemical decoration and functionalization of carbon nanotubes, fullerenes, endohedral fullerenes and metallofullerenes;

  3. Filling of carbon nanotubes, peapods and chemistry in the nano-space of S(D)WNTs;

  4. Production of graphenes and single walled carbon nanohorns and their application on catalysis, batteries, biology, etc.
