On April 5th (Qingming Festival), we organized a spring excursion to the Ming Tombs (明十三陵), a famous historical site in Beijing that houses a collection of mausoleums built by the emperors of the Ming dynasty. 11 people joined in the excursion. We paid tribute to the ancient emperors and empresses and enjoyed the breathtaking scenery of the most famous three mausoleums: Changling, Zhaoling, and Dingling, which are the final resting places of Emperor Yongle (Zhu Di), Emperor Longqing (Zhu Zaiji), and Emperor Wanli (Zhu Yijun), respectively. We hope everyone had a peaceful Qingming Festival.
