The research in our group is in the interdisciplinary area of organic, polymer, materials, and supramolecuar chemistry. We try to identify some fundamental problems in the applications of organic/polymeric materials for optoelectronic, photonic, or semiconducting properties, and address them from a supramolecular approach. Some projects currently being carried out relate to: synthesizing new (macro)molecules and studying their electronic and optical properties; investigating the self-assembly of conjugated systems into higher-order structures and the effects of the resulting supramolecular structures on their related properties and device performance. Other researches involve developing new organic photovoltaic materials, exploitation of supramolecular chirality of artificial systems in asymmetric catalysis, etc. For more detailed information, please check out  Research  page.
