1988–1993 Ph.D., Department of Chemistry, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Prof. Robert J. Silbey)

Professional Career:

1993–1994 Postdoctoral Associate at Carnegie Mellon University (Prof. David Yaron)

1994– Associate Professor and Professor at National Taiwan University

Research Interests:

1) Electronic Processes in Organic Materials

2) Quantum Transport Through Single Molecular Junctions

3) Electronic Structures and Transport Properties of Extended Metal Atom Chains

4) Structural Rules of Fullerenes and Graphitic Structures
