![]() My research and teaching interests divide into three directions. The first one is the spectroscopic method of X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS). XPS in surface analytical methods is extremely useful and popular. However, there are a lot of traps in data analyses. In oredr to obltain reliable informations, the studies on theory and practice of XPS are absolutely necessary. The sceond direction is applications of surface analyses to catalysts, polymers and so on .The methods include Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES), Secondary Ion Mass Spectroscopy (SIMS), Ion Scattering Spectroscopy (ISS) and so on besides XPS. Practical surfaces are very complicated. However, informations. provided by every method is limited. We have to study every method and apply them to practice, so that informations from different methods are mutually complementary. The last one is my teaching subject-group theory. It is a scientific basis of various spectroscopies. | |
