RESEARCH INTERESTS
Prof. Liu’s research interest is the sp2 nanocarbon materials including single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) and graphene targeting next-generation electronic devices. His work covers the controlled CVD growth, chemical modification for band structure engineering, and device fabrication techniques of SWNTs and graphene. He has published over 310 peer-reviewed papers in Nature, Nature Materials, JACS, Angew. Chem., Nano Lett., Adv. Mater., etc.
